Probability Sword | Glowing Long sword connected to ancient battery pack on belt via wires. A switch on the battery pack activates the sword's special powers, after which attacks drain a charge from the battery in exchange for summoning twenty versions of the sword's wielder from other dimensions to all make simultaneous attacks on the same target We learned that DVLs can see the true name of humans, etc, but we cannot see theirs. We found writing on the Probability Sword that we suspect may contain Asmodeus' true name. Prixithalma is researching. Velkin now carries it. |
Inactive: +2 to-hit/damage; Active: Twenty simultaneous attacks |
Liar Box | Bones rattle in the box when a lie is detected.
Doomsday Clock | Used by the party to know how long until the Ancient Dwarven Armada arrived through the space portal. It is now not working, but the DVL whom the party calls "Tik Tok" stuck around. He is just waiting for another doomsday/Armageddon to count down to.
Shard | Shard of unique stone from the Four Mothers. It destroys "others" - Those from other places/dimensions. DVL magic is destroyed. It melted a dragon and protected Rallion from dragon's fire. Lost to a demon in the stairs to the summit of Old Greybeard in Session 1. We confirmed that it is NOT of Medeia and that Asmodeus plans to use it to kill all life on Medeia to ascend to a higher plane, which is true reality and slay the creators.
Feather of the Chosen (Rallion) | Rallion picked it up the first time we ascended to the mountaintop temple of the Four Mothers. It gives light in a 10' radius. We learned at the Parliament of Birds that it came from Pollux the Golden Eagle. Now part of Rallion as a reincarnated Unicorn, now the Guardian of The Lake. | It also did damage minor to a demon. |
Feather of the Chosen (Lungmold) | Lungmold picket it up at the Parliament of Birds on the mountaintop temple of the Four Mothers. It gives light in a 10' radius. Now part of Rallion as a reincarnated Unicorn, now the Guardian of The Lake.
Spider Box | The party retrieved this box after opening it and barely getting it closed. It is from the Mother, Brita, and is full of "infinite" spiders. We returned it to Old Greybeard within the maze, but a party of Drow took it. We went to the underdark to retrieve it and were successful. We learned that it contains an expanding field that will be unleashed if the box is damaged. We also learned that it contained the Shard Sword and Bracer. Gath the Troglodyte carried it for the party until he stayed behind at the lake near Montoa with the reincarnated Rallion. The glowing Unicorn now known as the Guardian of The Lake (and Montoa).
Scepter | Scepter carried by Rallion that was found in the web we used to cross a chasm. It gives 60' of light. It can charm, speak to animals, and heal (with chance of fear)
Shard Sword | Short sword made of the same stone as the Shard. It is very sharp. We recovered it from the Box of Infinite Spiders, with the help of binding it with ropes and a woodpecker. It will banish the creature struck and all within a certain radius. There is a chance the wielder will also go with them. Rallion bore it until his death in Session 57. BLADE: Any Extradimensional Being Banished to their Home Plan when struck. Tears into fabric of reality (wielder & those nearby might be subject though.) Better chances to hit and more damage. BRACER: Protects wielder of the blade from the effects of the blade. Each stone increases probability of being affected (red gemstones). Single stone Moderate penalty to chance of being sucked through interdimensional tear of wielder and all within 20'. 2 stones minor penalty but only 10' radius. 3 Stones No penalty & only wielder subject to chance of being sucked in. After Rallion was killed, Brendil carried the shard sword and braced. Brendil used it to send One Horn to the City of Brass, where we learned Brendil ended up and lost the sword and bracer and Asmodeus now has it. We found another shard sword and bracer in One Horn's lair that Khelratha now carries. |
|
Shard Bracer | Bracer with a unique stone and spots for two more stones. Each stone on the bracer gives an improved chance that the wielder will not be sucked to another dimension. Rallion bore it until his death in Session 57. Brendil carried it and it was lost to Asmodeus when Brendil used it on One Horn and was caught in the force that sent One Horn to the City of Brass. We found another in One Horn's lair that Khelratha carries.
God Stones | In the underdark fighting the troglodytes, the stones animated by ??? calling on the stone gods summoned a Stone God. We managed to defeat the animated stones which closed the portal through which a giant arm appeared. The arm was left behind and glowed. We recharged spells from it and Kauri, Lambertus, and Felix each took 2 stones fully charged. One stone will charge a full round of spells. We now only have 3 stones as 3 were destroyed. | Full complement of memorized spells, or any one spell cast out of it. Can be recharge by drawing energy from a portal. |
Winter King's Sword | Borthan put up his sword as a side wager in the joust Khelratha had with Old Man Winter in Session 63. Khelratha won. Borthan gave the sword to Khelratha. | +4 longsword with other abilities to be revealed. |
Old Man Winter's Mace | Belt and "stick". When the "stick" is pulled from the belt is has rods of ice form a mace. | Unknown. |
Contracts for Allegiance to the Winter King | Lungmold, Brendil, and Ranarth all pledged fealty to the Winter King in Session 62. In Session 63 the Herald presented contracts for Lungmold and Ranarth to sign that pledge their families and inhabitants of their villages, even those who have died to service to the Winter King. They are allotted 50 retainers and the Winter King will credit them 10% of that, or 5 Winter Elves each. | Contract similar in nature to those with the DVLs. |
DVL Trap | Silverthrone Embassy in Malgrim was designed by the firegiant Suttung. It traps all DVLs which cross its threshold. | Nanocarbon pylons etched with merged draconic and ancient common runes then filled with dragon's blood powers it. |
Giant DVL Bridge Support | Giant bridge support DVL in Xen Khel. Now near the base of Xen Khel instead of in position between the peaks of Xen Khel. | We saw it move in Session 69 and smash something with the portion of bridge it holds. |
Continual light in Mikhel Peaks | In Session 69 Lambertus attempted to blind the roc Timorer but failed. There is now a continual light shining like a beacon. | 1st Edition AD&D Continual Light 6" radius globe p. 46 PHB |

Web Portal | Cloth that unfolds to connect to Loth's web. Velkin has two of them. | Like all Drow make stuff, they are vulnerable to sunlight. We learned this in Session 68 when the one we carry became very frayed. |
Magical Vessels | Vessels that preserve the healing properties of the waters from the lake near Montoa. The party has several of these. | The clay near the lake is required to make them. 2d6+2 for full dose or d6+1 for half dose. |
Snowflake Symbols of the Winter King | Vassals of the Winter King wear these magical symbols. Lungmold, Brendil, and Ranarth each have one. | Tap the symbol twice, when in dire need to summon assistance, if it can be given. |
