Frog feet patter on stone in the distance. The party seizes the moment to organize themselves for the battle to come. It is a gruesome battle, for both the Frog-men and the party of adventurers. Axel is gravely wounded, but at the end of the skirmish, there are 6 dead frogs.. The bodies are looted for a longsword, and the small amount of gold that they have.

Fearing for their injured allies, the party decides to head back to a safe place to rest. On the way back to the Goblin leaders room the party regroups with the remainder of their allies and the women they saved. A pair of fire is built to protect us from any assault, and Ir’Alle manages to call on the favor of his God and heal Axel. However, very soon after the party began resting, a crossbow bolt is fired. One of our enemies had poked his head through the door, but had run in fear. Guards were put on red-alert for the rest of the night, but fortunately, no attack came.

On the following day, the decision was finally made to go through the double doors that the Frog-man had poked his head through. Upon entering, the party was greeted to a large chamber complete with frescas (obviously much more risque than the previous) and Automatons. Due to of heat vision, the party was alerted to the presence of two enemies hidden behind the Automatons, who were quickly dealt with. Upon closer inspection of the Automatons, it was found that they appeared to be pretty much the same as the warriors that were encountered earlier, albeit much more fancy.

With only one way to go the group moved forward. Through the doors before them, they were met with the leader of the Bullywugs and three of his minions. however, there was also something in the water. The strange creature cast magical spells on the party, and the party began to fall like wheat to a scythe before the Bullywugs. The battle was long and gruesome, but ultimately the party of brave adventurers stood victorious over the ruin of their enemies. On the leader, the party found a scroll, a flask, and 5 gems of stunning beauty. However, the victory was to be short lived. The Devil Fish that cast it’s vile magic upon the adventurers returned, but this time was looking for the parties help. There was a statue that it wanted. It claimed that it was one of his ancestors, kept alive to guide his people through challenging times. If we helped to move it, we could keep the gem in the statue. After much deliberation, Sthorm bravely drank an elixir found on the body of the Bullywug leader and dove into the depths.

Empowered with water-breathing, Sthorm brought the statue to where the Devil Fish required it, and gained a fist sized gem in return. With our riches in hand, we left battered and bruised, but not heart-broken. We returned to the Goblin’s and left with a small sack of supplies, the morningstar “Midnight Star”, and the promise of directions to the tomb.

Upon returning to the surface, the group managed to make a guard very suspicious, but they also managed to finally save the two women from their prison. It was agreed that the women would meet with us the following day to tell the tale of their kidnapping, and hopefully learn more of the Bullywugs. With that the party retired to their townhouse to gain some much needed rest.
