Introduction

We continue at 8:20AM on the 24th of Denrilden (00.000.09.07 on the Apocalypse Clock) with the party having rested a full night in the web nexus after escaping the Inquisitorial Citadel in Gharmarost. It was an eventful night, though, with Niximanthus and the dervish Roheis escaping Xen'Khel via the other web portal to report that the Dragon Emperor and all the others at that location have been ambushed by the forces of Beelzebub. Now, cut off from any portals, the party must decide how to reach Malgrim and the embassy where Khelratha and Alisceon Hayne can be raised from the dead. Can the group traverse the dangerous Underdark in the time remaining? Is the embassy still a place of safe refuge? What lies beyond the web nexus's doors? Tune in to find out ...

Larry's Summary

In the morning, well rested, and ready to do what is next.

Prix, Caspar, and assistants are all packed up with Nanocarbon book and shard of special stone.

Holmeda did her best getting the kids ready.

Prixithalma is carrying the shard.

Break up beds to make two travois to haul the bodies of Khelratha and Ithirialma, and as much food as we can carry, and all the books. A third travois for shorbow, arrows, gems & jewelry, 400 PP and 1,600 GP.

BOOKS VELKIN GOT FROM THE POISON WELL: /

  • 3 vol history of the elves from Empire perspective - Very clear Azrael knew about the Summer and Winter Kings.
  • 2 vol history of the dragon empire - real history emperor always Azrael
  • 4 books were probably cursed
  • 2 vol private diaries of Prixithalma - time in which planning final stages of rebellion against the dwarves. Azrael added an addendum to the last volume
  • Description of the Dragon Home Dimension
  • Ancient Dwarves tried to destroy the Shadow Realm. How it was stopped and how the dwarves got as far as they did. They broke one of the anchor points of the Shadow Realm.

We load up the rest of the loot in crates and barrels near the double doors.

We prepare to open the doors with as much food and loot as we can carry.
